I was not expecting a place called Lowlife, that’s located behind a Folly gas station and was also recommended to us by Bubba (Brian’s 60 something year old ex-neighbour/current friend who thinks he is a pirate, ARRR)  to be an awesome open aired beach bar complete with new landscaping, a sick cocktail menu and avocado toast. I was more picturing a dimly lit dive bar but I was totally wrong. Lynchie and Katie (who refuses to follow this blog until she is mentioned and in a photo) were with us too and I think everyone but me got the fried chicken sandwich. I think all together we agreed the waffle fries with old bay seasoning alone were worth going here again, so damn good!  I kind of regret not getting a chicken sandwich too. However they came with pickles on the plate, and I’d like to take this moment to express my disdain and hatred for pickles and the fact that they permeate everything they touch, you can remove the pickle but you always know that it was there. Just a warning for those in agreement with my pickle assessment.
